What better at the end of a hard days work in the garden, then to sit down on your back deck, to savor a deliciously refreshing, ice cold… “Value Lager”?
Life doesn’t get any better, or generic, does it?

I know my ignorance will be showing here. What does 93P stand for? I suppose pounds. Did you partake of any of this masterpiece of the brew master’s art?
A few years ago, after picking up a British friend at the airport, we stopped at a restaurant to eat. My wife ordered a Shiner Bock so our friend, Harry Eaglestone, ordered one as well. After drinking some he commented “This is very good, almost beer. Too bad it’s cold.”
Ho Bob.
P stands for pence, and this as you can imagine is really cheap lager! And I am happy to say no I did not partake any of this dangerous looking brew.
The craze currently in the UK now, is for beers to be “extra” cold, but I remember well the “warm” English pints.
Sometimes you make me jealous with all your mad photographing skillz.
Hi Katina…Photoshop is a great tool. It is amazing what you can do with it.
Thanks.

And the UK used to be such a marvelous example for brewing. I blame the Germans.
Hi Paul.
Oh the UK still produces some really good brews, though I trust this is not one of their finest examples…I did not try this one!
